Hello guys!, I am new on this forum. I am a vinyl lover as probably you are too and I want to start my own project cutting vinyl records by myself.

So I woukd like to know if any of you could please give me some advive about the machines available on the internet and if you have some links that would be great too!

I want to start ASAP!, and I would even consider getting a used one (in good condition ofc) ;)

P.D: If I am breaking any rule here please let me know :)

thanks!

Better try lathetrolls forum.

I had the itch in my past and went with a Neumann lathe. Was quite a learning curve.

Have fun!

I am also a vinyl lover and I have been working on vinyl cutting projects for over 10 years. There are many cutting machines on the market, but there are relatively few suitable cutting software.

Here is a full list of vinyl cutters:

For cutting machines, you can now these brands: GCC, Graphtec, Roland, Vevor, Loklik, and etc. The software I currently use is Easy Cut Studio 5, it work great with my Vevor 721 and Roland GS-24 on Windows 10.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. I believe the thread is about cutting vinyl records with a lathe.

There is this group on facebook that connects Disc Mastering Engineers who produce the master discs for the manufacture of vinyl records. This page facilitates communication, sharing of knowledge, and members helping with troubleshooting and discuss emerging technologies. From time to time, I've seen members posting sale of cutting lathes.

There is a fellow in Perth making one (James).
I have seen it and heard it, but only for a short time.
Looks really interesting.
