No standing in line

Why buy Starburnts or Four-Bucks??? Nespresso is GREAT, and it is ~ $1 per pod. No standing in lines. No finding a parking space. Roll out of bed & get going.

When I sold our previous house, I left the $4,000 professional espresso machine. Now if my wife helped clean-it, maintain-it, etc.; I would have kept it. Nespresso is easy like other pod systems; I like their coffee; we use the VertuoLine.

first you learn, then you die

I agree with you, and I spent many hours reading, studying, visiting roasters, tasting, etc. etc. But there is just not enough time to do everything [first you learn, then you die]. Nespresso may not be great, but it is easy, good, and consistent [not like certain garbage]. It is very good if you are an Aussie coffee snob [no nasty double meaning].

Without wanting to sound like an Aussie coffee snob, if you guys think Starbucks or nespresso is quality coffee you have much to learn :)

I've never understood what's so difficult about a bean grinder and a French press. It is the caffeine equivalent of a wire with no gain, it's simple, and yet people will spend thousands to avoid the obvious.
