Steve.... I thought it was warm down there. I see Marty sweating and you're in a long sleeve shirt cool and collected!!!
 
it started cool every morning and warmed up during our hikes. Layers of clothing came off. Trust me when I tell you that sweat was pouring off everyone. It was hard work

Huka Lodge-North Island

This for me was thew highlight of the trip. It was opulent with much needed rest and relaxation. The grounds were almost 100 years old since the lodge opened and the landscaping was impeccable, the room and . The groundkeepers new what they were doing. I took many pictures here because each time I turned my head, the next picture was better than the last. I'll show some photos of the lodge, the room and the grounds. It was serenity at its best
