The series debuted today. Basically its Zack Schneider's Watchmen on crack. Imagine what would have happened if Blackwater had managed to corporatize the super hero biz.
Eh, I don't know about it being anything like Watchmen at all but... I have really high hopes, really low expectations. It's possibles they depowered "The Boys" so it'll be a stupid stupid stupid edition of an amazing comic series.

Well before you judge The Boys, perhaps you should view it? Having not read the graphic novels from which either Watchmen or The Boys were based, I can only critique the movie and TV series respectively. After finishing The Boys on Amazon Prime last night I will say I very much enjoyed it, as I also have Watchmen on several viewings over the years.
LOL! If you haven't seen it how can you possibly demean it? A movie or TV adaptation of a book or graphic novel needn't be a slavish copy of the source material in order to be great in its own right. Frank Miller Batman fans had no problem with the trio of Dark Night Movies. Fans of Walking Dead graphic novels or the Game of Ice and Fire have no complaints about their respective big budget TV adaptations. No one that has ever enjoyed the written fiction of Phillip K Dick complains that Blade Runner, Minority Report, and the Adjustment Bureau movies or Man in The High Castle TV series bitches that the movie sucked 'cuz it wasn't exactly true to the source material. But of course you actually have to watch or read something to have a valid opinion about it, don't you...
