I just watched both Part I and II of the Billy Joel documentary and couldn't get enough, Produced by Tom Hanks and Sean Hayes, this is a wonderful and joyous treatment of a musician who really did write the sound track of my life. Fantastic stories, production and of course, the music. From his strained relationship with his father to his family's background as German Jews, this is a focused and coherent story of his journey from Long Island clubs to his 100th performance at MSG, and beyond. The relationships with his wives, friends and bandmates were all covered in great detail. 5 hours of viewing in 2 parts, it was just a wonderful and joyous celebration of a remarkable career that may not yet be finished! I loved every minute of it.
