I have been going through my vinyl collection and have come to the realization that I have WAY too many poor recordings and worse still a lot of VG and VG- LP's. So, I have come to the conclusion that the herd has to be cut down. My new plan is to get rid of numerous LP's that are just taking up space and ultimately replace with better quality. Anyone done this with their collection? How do you guys dispose of the "less than desirable" LP's? Good will, Amvets, Garage sale, Craigslist or? Or do you?
Since we all have limited storage facilities available to us ( Unless we live on the farm, LOL) then I think this question becomes more appropriate as the collection grows. I'm now for Quality over Quantity.
How many of us have large collections, say 5000+ LP's, and they are ALL quality?
