The Best In Film Music

Vangelis, OST from 1492 - Conquest of Paradise.

Picked up a Charles Gerhardt tape of the "Lost Horizon" film score by Dimitri Tiomkin. One of my favs and just a beautiful recording.

When it comes to film music, there is Nino Rota for Fellini. Then there is Nino Rota for others. Then there are others for others.

Yesterday, while visiting my local dealer, he played the soundtrack to The Hot Spot on vinyl - with John Lee Hooker, Miles Davis, Taj Mahal, among others. WOW! The CD is available on Amazon for not very much.... but I'm hunting for the vinyl.
