Taiko Audio Extreme Router

Fun cheap experiment to try! If you like what you hear, more upgrades from there (power, cables, etc)

I’ve got parts for a v2 build in bound, but I’m very happy with my v1 build

Hmmm.

I am beginning to become curious.
What I remember:
When I added the T router to my system, Emile advised me to remove my Ediscreation extreme switch (not a bad switch at all).
Way back then, with ROON, I preferred my system with Ediscreation, but with XDMS I preferred it without.

I would really like to know what our fearless leader Emile thinks of the TP Link WR 902AC.

Groundaray usb and Furutech clearline LAN in my T router:
Both are an improvement. Bass dynamics have returned big time.

Return of bass dynamics and heft might be a run in effect or due to some bizarre results with several rosewood and ebony blocks abused as cable risers.
Oh, and don’t you ever let those direct attach cables touch the floor …

update: the tplink 902 that the above thread began with will not work directly into the ethernet card on the extreme, as the 100mb output of the tplink902 is not supported.
the tplink 1502 does support 1gb ethernet and should work directly into the extreme.
more info in the thread above
