The Reference Symphony 13s were installed today. Out of the boxes the bass is much better than I would have thought possible.

[please forgive my poor English]
Congrats Audio Addict for your wonderful system. I guess with Aries Cerat electronics, it must rock.
What kind of music do you listen to?
Do you care more about the bass, and less about the midrange? (I don't see any specific midrange driver on the Symphony 13)
the manufacturer says they have never built a single Symphony 13 with a beryllium driver.
Indeed, no beryllium (Be) option for that model (no option
at all btw):

For the midrange, titanium (with level regulation) as standard
The Be was standard for the midrange driver in the
Overture model. Now it is aluminum. Maybe Be has now become an option for the Overture (though I do not see any option on hORNS webpage).
The [US distributor and the] manufacturer no longer do business
hORNS as a European
manufacturer is alive and doing very well:

The biggest Brussels dealer has even become a hORNS dealer now:

I am sincerely glad that all the frustration (with that non-existent Be upgrade) is now behind you, and that you enjoy the music

The match of your Symphony 13 with Aries Cerat must be terrific.
hORNS seem to offer a very high value for the money
(I heard their little Aria II mk3 floorstander, €5880; on classical music, I was
stunned, as were the four members of the dealership's team. They now stock hORNS, along with Wilson, YG, TAD, Magico, B&W, Martin Logan, Sonus Faber, Cabasse, Triangle, etc.
A French review
raved about the little hORNS FP-10 monitor too, €5850, 96 dB; this one teases me, but I have never heard it yet)
