Sveda Audio Jupiter - Active loudspeakers done right?

I ahve heard this combination in Audio show in Prague Czech rep. I was amazed what that minimalistic system did. I was thinking, and I still rember that, of I have smaller room and going to retire I get this combo and be very happy. Truly wonderful sound Sveda plus Pacific with volume regulation and great server, that was it. Awesome sounding system. Sveda is not ovepriced.
Exactly the same combo bought my heart at AVS in Warsaw, and few years later I got the Pacific 2 DAC, which is my personal top 3 digital front end.

I’ve been using various Quested Active Analog speakers for over 20 years—Nearfields, Midfields, and Long Throws. They’ve served me in every space imaginable: personal office, bedroom, music rooms, and of course, in all the home theater builds I work on.

From day one, Quested has stayed true to its philosophy—no DSP, no Class D amplification. Their speakers run pure Class A/B, and they recommend high-powered Class A/B amps for subwoofers as well.

In my view, any DSP inside a studio monitor is a compromise.

I couldn't agree more

Last week, I had the pleasure of presenting these active bad boys with some amazing gear: the Horizon360 DAC, Zikra Audio Preamplifier, Shunyata Denali, and Dyrholm Audio cables. Nobody expected such a "compact" loudspeaker to deliver such a huge sound. Of course, we stayed realistic and added a subwoofer to complete the full experience. Nevertheless, the Jupiters are truly something else in the world of active monitors.
