I have found that many of the music recommendations by some of the Staff writers at
Stereophile have been excellent. The writer that REALLY stands out is Robert Baird.
He really is a musicologist with a great ear.
Baird wrote an amazing piece on The Unthanks. For fans of Sandy Denny, Pentangle, and English
folk rock in general. Simple angelic.

Also, Jesse Baylin, a real throwback, 70's style chanteuse...really nice:

Special mention for Stephen Mejias, whose musical taste I generally have nothing
in common (Drake, R.Kelly etc) with. However, he recommend this incredible album by Aidan Baker,
called Already Drowning. I bought the 24 bit WAV download. Riveting.
