SS Amp Performance Characteristics

Nobody is trying to convince you of anything and I'm not into pam pam amps which both are ….
Pam pam???? Whats that mean?

Where have you heard my amp? There are not many out there?

You appear to make assumptions about equipment you have never heard. How can anyone take you seriously. It makes you seem as dogmatic about SS as others are to SET. Neither is a thoughtfully honest position. It makes the appearance of very limited experience.

Depends mostly on how it’s recorded. I have plenty of deep and mid bass and get lots of pluck…on certain recordings.

True.

I do stand by my pushback about accentuated plucking sounds with less bass output on a given recording.

Currently playing some of my best tapes through the Hegel integrated amp and compare it to CAT tubes .
Very good , integrated ss amps have become considerably better over the past years .
Bass is also very good , clean and deep.
Solid state is a bit more precise /clean.

Agree. It can be precise. I would say most good SS is precise and a low noise floor.
Playing with the two I can see how people would hate SET and Horn. Or how they would hate SS and Boxed speakers. They both have a very distinctive presentation. They are not at all similar.

Even tube and SS have very distinctive sonic characteristics. You can scream at the moon and insult anyone and everyone till your blue in the face. But your words won't influence their preferences. You might as well look in a mirror and yell at yourself. You will get about the same outcome.

Total assumption, but I doubt many people will change their mind about which they prefer.

Edit, I'm not talking about you screaming Andro. I was only responding to your comment on SS. The rest was stream of thought.
