Looking for comments on how Siemens Da tubes perform as output tube. I like how they sound as tube buffer but have been hesitant in building an amp out of it. Any inputs appreciated, thanks!

It's hard to find a datasheet for them. Do you have their curves? If you do, then look at the linearity (how parallel the curves are to each other). If they look nice and uniform then the tube should do fine :)

Thank you! The below link is the only thing I can find.

I wouldn't build an amp on a super rare and super expensive tube that I couldn't even find a datasheet for. There are other amazing tubes to use ;)

Have been using them in a tube buffer for a long time. Was thinking if I should build an amp out of it, the rarity part is not of my concern I don't collect tubes. Datasheet per the link above.

You just have to do a triple flip with a twist leyenda. Simple smooth front flip just wouldnt do for your fun. :)

Well, building an amp is a big investment. Not having a selection of spare tubes would stop me from using this Da model. Additionally, it's way easier to make a buffer, than a amp.
Can I ask you why do you want to do it? If it's for fun, and nothing can discourage you ,then go ahead and let us know :)
