I have a beautiful Sansui receiver model 800 and everything works fine but I have no FM. Even with an FM antenna I get no reception at all. Checked all fuses and sprayed controls with Dtoxit5. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

There is not a problem with the signal. All my receivers get a good signal. I just bought this receiver today and the FM does not work. I opened the unit and cleaned everything that needed cleaned. The signal meter works on AM and I receive AM but FM is dead.

The fact that is in otherwise perfect shape makes me think it might benefit from some troubleshooting. Do you have the manual? The AM and FM sections are usually separate.
I am just saying.

Thanks, I am going to spend the day looking for bad joints. Complicated stuff.
