NVO (New Valve Order) Spa II Special Edition

Any experience with this phono, at 6500 USD supposedly a giant killer, Jeff Day has replaced quite a few with this, on one forum I read Ypsilon, ASR, replaced with this.

One thing that would concern me with that preamp...too many tubes! That many tubes is a sure way to give off plenty of heat, and as we all know, the more heat the more prone to failure! Never mind what it does to the room temperature.
