Hehe. Just $28K. Wonder if Steve will loan me money to get it. :D

I am now gradually outfitting my electronics workbench so spare change is going toward that.
 
That is what Dietmar from Trinity is getting. He told ma a few months back, that he waits for one to take the measurements of his umcomming power amp, as the specs of his current AP is worse than the specs of the poweramp (!).
 
It used to be that instruments were of much higher performance because they could afford the much higher retail pricing. A $25K instrument could afford to have better design/components than a $1,000 amplifier.

Now we have a situation where high-end electronics also enjoys no cost barriers and hence, our instruments struggle to do better.

Hence my saying that our audio electronics have to be laboratory grade to match the specification they are supposed/can have.
