I've given up on them Phil. The entire team needs to be blown up at season end, trade their assets while they are worth something and do a rebuild with draft choices , trades and youth.

From the very start of preseason games I felt the Lakers team of Senior citizens was never going to work and adding a $45M per year Westbrook to the team has been a bust

Today Lakers play the Celts Phil. I am betting on the Celts. Lakers can usually muster a good first half in their games but typically collapse and fall apart in the 3rd period and scramble to play catch up in the 4th where turn overs abound

I feel for Frank Vogel who is well intentioned but cannot field a team who has a winning attitude

The Lakers bring out the best in every team they play. The script is predictable. They always start fast and have a double digit lead early in the first. In the second they typically give it all back. In the 3rd they cave and relinquish the lead and in the 4th they are always playing desperation catch up basketball
