I never believed in the Clipper Curse...until now. :(
I can't believe it. Just woke up to this bad turn of events . Still hopeful Doc finds a way to pull this one off.

OK. Here's the thing, the reason I am pulling for the Clipps is that for ages I wondered "WHAT IF Larry Legend didn't trade Kawhi for George Hill?". At the start of this season it was whoah, they might not be wearing blue and gold anymore but at least I get to see them together....except. With injuries and load management that happened very rarely. THEN the pandemic happens and the season is suspended. They come back and PG is "in a dark place". Oh man, this season has been torture for me.

Lakers - Celtics final is looking more and more like a possibility as you guys said a few pages back

Just watched the highlights and I would say the Nuggets played with no pressure and loose. That is an advantage to them, and they crawled back from a big deficit to start their engine blazing in the 3rd and continuing in the 4th. Those outside shots really helped them, and I can't really blame Doc and the Clippers, it is an emotional and stunning hit to see a group of young guys - Murray, Jokic, Harris (this guy impressed me since last season's playoffs), and a rookie, Porter Jr. shooting away like a runaway freight train. Game 7 will have the Clippers' back against the wall and maybe there will be more sense of urgency then. Nuggets offense - swinging the ball around wildly in a dazzling manner is impressive. If they can go on like that in the WCF, that would be something to watch. But Clippers need to combat this kind of offense, it's for Doc and Lue to figure out. Still hoping for a Clippers win.

I'd rather see Lebron against the Heat, Jack. :D Lebron needs motivation to win. That's why he bolted the Heat when Wade and Bosh were still there. He needed to win one for his hometown. That's motivation. Then he moved again to LA after determining that the Cavs cannot win anymore with his present state :D , and LA's glits and glamor and history motivates him, and now he is proving those who claims he was washed up wrong. :D I don't want to see him any more motivated no more. :D But the Heat will have more motivation than the C's to beat him. :D

I've slways defended Doc but perhaps it is time for a change.

But not Mike D thank you very much.

Tyrone Lue is sitting next to Doc...
Or it may be the bench is not providing the backup while the starters are resting. The last 2 games the Clippers were up big the first half, but they lose the lead quickly in the second half only to lose. The starters of the Clips have to step up in the 2nd half , and the bench should help. I haven't seen Lou scoring 30 points so far, lots of misses in fact. And Beverly can be an offensive liability, no shots no moves. Morris Sr. is proving again to be an inconsistent guy like was in the Celtics' playoffs before. It can't be a purely Kawhi and PG show, specially in the 2nd half.

You guys are talking Lakers -Celtics but don’t count these Nuggets out. What gut and determination.

Surely Nuggets is a force to reckon with, specially with these last 2 games showing. But interestingly, they have fell behind 1-3 twice in these playoffs. Why is that? Are they good when they're backs are against the wall? Shoot the 3s and try for a comeback. If they get to face the Lakers, that cannot be a winning formula. Winning by momentum? If Nuggets win this game 7 by a grind out close game (like they did vs Utah), they should start doing that in the Lakers series. :D But I hope to see an all-LA WCF. :D

Game 7 will have different circumstances:

The Nuggets no longer have nothing to lose and the momentum on their side.
I hope that puts some pressure on the Nuggets and they lose some of their ease

The Clippers are warned now more than once NOT to give up BIG leads so easily
But the pressure is on the Clips as well now with their backs against the wall and I hope they can handle the pressure like possible champions

I also hope for the Clippers to win
