CongratsClippers win to move into round 2.
Yes, that will be a change for the better....except for Luo Williams. His wife might want to kick his ass for the chicken wing BS.![]()
I think Luka is the real unicorn. Rare. The future looks bright for Luka and the Mavs. The unknown is Porzingis
NBA playoffs: Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks' championship window is approaching

I still believe Clipps will win it all but it pisses me off that they play only sufficient to win. Give the ball to the emotionless Kawhi and get out of the way. The guy is a superstar but he still pisses me off. I enjoy watching Lou Williams more than Kawhi

Well guys , it looks like the Lakers as well as the Clippers have several days of unexpected load management
I love that there are are 3-4 games each day to wach

Kawhi is a strange character.....but you can be eccentric (weird?) when you are as good as he is. I will admit I've been frustrated with him myself a time or two.....or three.
Paul George is a lot easier to like than Kawhi but PG13 disappeared at critical times in a few recent playoff games. Hope he stops doing that.
I'm not convinced the Clippers will win it all but I remain hopeful.
Changing gears, your comment about Doncic is spot on. He is an incredible player at just 21 and he has established himself as a star. Porzingis is an amazing talent, too, so the Mavs will be a big factor in the Western Conference going forward
Mavs next year will find the defense they need and I expect them to fare much better. Cuban is rich like Ballmer (well almost) and will spend the money to build his team
Long and the short of it, is that the young talent in the league this year is the best I've seen in yearsMavs next year will find the defense they need and I expect them to fare much better. Cuban is rich like Ballmer (well almost) and will spend the money to build his team
Cuban is a good owner, too. He used to irritate me but he's matured and some of the rough edges have disappeared.![]()
this is do or die for Lakers. If they die, they will be dead for years as their future is AD ?? and a core of journeymen . Potential is there with Kuzma who they need to get more involved and Alex Caruso who is rightly called the "white mamba"
Dwight Howard overall impressed me at the beginning of the season when he payed so much better. Now he fills time and gets unnecessary fouls as well as missing so many dunks so I wonder where he will be next year. I expect a lot of new faces on the Lakers next year as they again try to find the finish line
....and love him or hate him, LeBron had an incredible year.
The man is 35 years old and looks like he will keep playing at a high level for a few more years.
For now at least you and Phil are in a better spot than the LakersI agree about the level and intensity with which he plays but let's discuss the fall off in his shooting accuracy both from the field and from the line
For me I remain conflicted with him as a Laker but it is what it is and I am a die hard Lakers fan
The hope is for coach Spo to design a choking defense on the Bucks shooters. They've got a big guy aptly named BAM to do the job. And let's see if Butler lives up to his claim. For now at least you and Phil are in a better spot than the Lakers
And let's not forget that the Celtics are undefeated (5-0) in thre playoffs. Watching them dismantle the raptors tells me the Celts are serious contenders
The biggest upset should it happen is Heat upsetting the Bucks (but that is pipe dreaming)
