New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Warriors still saying KD's injury is his calf not achilles. Hope that is true but hate to see any player get injured.

Steve Kerr doesn't expect KD to play in game 6.

The door is wide open for the Rockets. KD is out for the remainder of this series. They do however have to win the two remaining games. Hopefully Golden State will be able to rally for one.

Hope KD recovers. There are 2 more playoff series to go, Western Finals and the Finals. The Warriors meanwhile, become 'mortals' without KD, they still have Klay, Steph, Green and Iggy, What luxury. Houston looks very determined. Big challenge ahead for the Warriors.

The way I look at it they are indeed mortal. The door is open. Harden looks determined and Steph has been nothing short of ordinary which he always seems to be in the playoffs. If Steph and Klay don't bring their A game then Warriors might be going fishing

Further this is not such an insignificant injury and if the Warriors prevail there is nothing to say that KD will be back for the Conference finals or even the championship series

I hate when injures affect the playoffs

I hope you don't consider me sexist as I'm not but I must say that watching the game now on ESPN why are we forced to suffer with Doris Burke as the color commentator. Is this a women's equality thing? She boring to listen to and I would be hard pressed to call her a color commentator

These kinds of futuristic and sensationalized tall are what makes a superstar lose focus on his present job.

Report: Lakers to interview Vogel for coaching job
Joe Reedy | Associated Press

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A person familiar with the search says Frank Vogel will be interviewed for the Lakers head coach opening.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because they weren't at liberty to publicly discuss negotiations. Vogel flew to Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 45-year old Vogel did not coach last season following two years with the Orlando Magic. He arrived in Orlando following five-plus seasons leading the Indiana Pacers, including two trips to the Eastern Conference finals in 2013 and '14.

Vogel is the fifth candidate known to have interviewed for the opening since the Lakers dismissed Luke Walton on April 12. Los Angeles was thought to be on the verge of hiring Tyronn Lue this week before talks broke down. They have also considered Monty Williams, who was hired by the Phoenix Suns, Juwan Howard and Jason Kidd.

The Los Angeles Times was the first to report the Lakers' plans to interview Vogel.

.Jeanie needs to hire an NBA experienced executive professional to run the basketball side of the operation.

Jerry Buss had the magic touch but we now know that none of the kids do.

Times are different, league is different. Listening to the Rambis family isn't the way to go.

I agree about Rambis but bear in mind that he was a former boyfriend ofJeannie many years ago (before even Phil was her boyfriend):)

I watched the Nuggs Blazers last night and had a good look at Jokic This guy is a gentle giant. He is huge. His movements on the floor look awkward, almost as if he is shuffling his feet and bobbing up and down BUT the guy shoots the ball with pin point accuracy. He will be a force to contend with in the future. He has endless energy and stamina

Now I get it, ever since Kyrie apologized to LeBron for some leadership juju, his stint in Boston went south. He must have to be so down that time to look for his elder brother, and now is very free to rejoin him. What a story if he really lands in LAL.

On the latest episode of "The Bill Simmons Podcast," the Ringer CEO mentioned a rumor that he's heard since Lue and the Lakers agreed to go their separate ways.

"The rumor mill is fantastic," Simmons said during a conversation with longtime Celtics radio play-by-play announcer Sean Grande. "I don't mind passing along various things I've heard, including, somebody told me that Ty Lue -- the Lakers had to back out of the Ty Lue thing because Ty Lue and Kyrie, they couldn't be together again and Kyrie's going to go there and that's why that fell through. Not because of the contract. I have no idea if that's true or not but that's going to be the next two months of my life."

If someone said that the gane is tied 57-57 at half time without KD and Curry is scoreless with 3 fouls I say you’re crazy.

We have a game on in Houston

Eric Gordon is a killer behind the arc

Warriors are very capable of winning this game, imo.
