New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Huge game at Indianapolis where a much better pacer team outplayed outclassed and out scored tge Knocjs who looked tired and sluggish

Pacers 130-121 to take a 3-1 lead in this series

If Knicks lose this I feel the team needs to have a hard look at Thibs and his style of coaching. IMHO Knicks have been out coached by Rick Carlisle. Thibs runs his team into mental and physical exhaustion. The Knicks looked lifeless tonight. This playoffs were the Knicks to lose and they likely will lose. If so I would consider a coaching change in NY. Bottom line to me is the Pacers have emerged with great confidence and beat some very good teams. Knicks are a great team but they had nothing left physically or emotionally in their tanks tonight. The Pacers deserve to win the EC . They have beaten some very good teams. On paper this was Knicks year. It ain’t over yet but the fat lady might be singing soon if Knicks win the next 3 they should win the NBA. This is looking like OKC-Pacers final.

Knicks IMO need a fresh look at coaches.

@JackD201 ….,.this could be your year.

I agree - Malone is waiting out there. Meanwhile Josh Hart KILLED Knicks last night with 5 turnovers, each at critical juncture. I hear the fat lady warming up for sure....

I truly believe that Thibs could very well be the blame for the Knicks running on empty. They all looked totally gassed last night with nothing left to give

This headline was the reason the Pacers are doing so well

Haliburton's triple-double is the 1st in NBA playoff history in which a player had at least 30 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds with no turnovers.

There is no doubt that this year in the NBA, "there has been a changing of the guard"

67-32 OKC early in the 3rd. Looks like we are going to have an OKC -Pacers finals. Indeed a changing of the guard

OKC destroys the Wolves 124-94 and wins the WC.

OKC -Pacers in the final doesn’t even sound right. However youth has arrived. I banter the Knivksxwinningbthe last 3 games. If they do a well rested okc team will be resdy to pick them off. A Pacers -OKC series will be much faster and far more exciting.

Two young, exciting, small market teams that didn't buy their way in. From here in flyover country, I'm loving it!
The Thunder are certainly a more "finished" team than the Pacers (I live near Indy and share season tickets), but I agree with your take. The Pacers are a group that people can get behind for reasons other than being the local team, and I feel that OKC is similar.
If you haven't seen it, it's really worth reading Pacers' center Myles Turner's take, in his extended article in "The Players' Tribune," titled It Took Me Ten Years to Write This. It's extraordinarily thoughtful and revealing. https://www.theplayerstribune.com/myles-turner-nba-basketball-indiana-pacers-playoffs

I have to admit that the finals will be so different than any in so. may years. Both teams are young and exciting. I can get behind either team . I prefer the Thunder for no ther reason than i'm a WC guy yet I love watching the Pacers play. Like the Thunder, nothing phases them. I believe the Thunder has a deeper bench but both teams are excellent and Im good with either team winning it. Haliburton is like SGA as both have ice cubes in their veins, How Haliburton has won or tied 2 games in the playoffs on the last play in regulation time is mesmerizing. Both are young and well coached and to me this signifies a passing of the guard. All the traditional teams are going to have to go to school on coaching a young team. I remember when Doc left Boston for the Clippers and he commented that he had no desire to coach a young team. Thankfully he is no longer sitting in the coaches seat

At the end of the day I feel for the Knicks as they were poised and favored to win the EC. They are healthy but as Ive commented before Thibs coaching style is to play his starters until they drop. The last game that showed as all of them were literally running on empty. I believer the Knicks need to look at their coach and decide if he will take them across the finish line. Im not so sure. I just cant see the Knicks winning the next 3 games but if they do they will be facing a well rested OKC team

Do or die for the Knicks and at home they woke up and are finally playing Knicks type of basketball as they lead 56-45 at the half

Ugly, ugly game for the Pacers tonight. 30% field goal shooting for much of the first half, no rebounding, and the transition game disappeared. So did Tyrese Haliburton.
Good game by the Knicks who were clearly focused and dialed-in.

well this series is going 6 games and the way the Knicks played tonight , it might just go 7 games. Towns and Brunson played superb and nothing fell for the Pacers who were outplayed and outclassed. They better win at home next game as a sudden death game 7 would favor the Knicks.

Knicks dominated from start to finish and Pacers never lead nor were they ever in the game

Final Knicks clobber the Pacers 111-94

Pacers must win game 6 because if they dont and come back to MSG they will get their asses kicked as they did tonight. The crowd was the biggest part of the gam

If Knicks win this I mught eat humble pie about Thibs as he did use his bench tonight

well played first period by both teams but I sense the momentum is with the Knick as the Pacers are missing too many easy buckets.

Pacers definitely dont want to go back to MSG with the series tied so they need two up their performance tonight . If the series goes back to MSG the Knicks will ahve to be favored to win

25-24 Pacers end of 1st

The fast pace of this game might slightly favor the Pacers but at the half the Knicks are in a good position as this game is far from over

at the half Pacers lead 58-54

The third period belong completely to the Pacers. Their speed, finesse, scoring ability and outstanding defense totally perplexed the Knicks, who just couldn’t make a run at it. As they were committing too many turnovers.

The Pacers just seemed too fast with great defense, and the Knicks seem totally out of sync.

And the third period show the Pacers in control with the fourth period being theirs to win as it looks to be the case now

Pacers lead 92-77 end of :3rd

The defense played by the Pacers in this game has been the best I’ve seen by any team in these entire playoffs
