New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Wonder if Rockets GM Daryl Morey is at risk, too.

The deal making master mind has pulled several rabbits out of his hat but has never won a championship.

He also cost the NBA billions when he provoked an international incident with China.

The Rockets owner, Tilman Fertitta, is under financial pressure as he is heavily invested in the gambling industry in Las Vegas and Covid 19 is killing Vegas

Lots a pressure across the board in Houston even without mentioning players like Harden and Westbrook.

Blow them all up. I hate the Rockets

What a game. With a minute left the Heat lead 111-107

Jimmy Butler has called it. The Heat are afraid of no one and can beat everyone.Really???

Giannis misses 2 free throws with 40 seconds left. Bukler misses a free throw at the end with 7 seconds left Score 114-111

I said there were going to be upsets. The 1-2 seeds in the East are vulnerable

I love it Butler scores only 10 and takes only one shot in the second half and gives up a basket with under 10 seconds in the game

Heat fouls on the final throw in and all 3 shots made

Score 114-114 with 4.3 seconds left in regulation

Heat fouled on the final shot of the game and game over in regulation 116-114 Heat up 2-0

Incredible game indeed, Steve. Heat almost blew a 6 point lead with 19 seconds left.

For a while there I was thinking coach Spo was going to have a reverse deja vu when the Heat overcame a 5 point deficit to tie the game and beat the spurs in overtime. But the Greek freak fouled the butler. :)

And Butler missed the free throws until he iced it on the last play of the game

The end of the Heat - Bucks game was strange. Neither of the fouls called in the closing seconds looked like a foul to me. I thought the call that sent Butler to the line with time expired was a "make good"

When Butler missed, I was reminded of the Kawhi and Manu missed FTs that would have iced the game. And now, ironically I am on the side of Spo, since before, who know who was there, plus the ex Celtic. :D

Right. That foul of Dragic for a Middleton 3 shot looked clean to me. Just their 2 jerseys came into contact. Then, the make good call. At least it now looks 'fair'. :D

I'll be rooting for the Lakers in their series with the Rockets.

OKC took it down to the wire but couldn't pull out the win.

I was stunned that Harden saved the game playing defense, blocking the shot and splitting his legs to avoid the out of bounds attempt.

Can't root for the team where the illegal recruiter plays for. :)
So I should hope that Westbrook finally gets to explode in one or two of those games. Yes, I actually heard that Houston has the best defense but I could have heard wrong. Harden is leading that pack.

The effects of a no fans game. Jimmy Butler to shoot 2 free throws with 0.0 on the clock and his first shot trickled IN, and he didn't show any joy nor jubilation at the fact that that one shot won them the game and a 2-0 lead over the league best record Bucks. The guy means business and without the fans, the players are winning it for themselves, free from any emotional or mental pressure with the presence of tens of thousands of fans. This bubble series may be a game changer in determining who has ice on their nerves when it comes down to crunch time. And Mike pointed out the stage presence of one James Harden who is known as Mr. No Defense (aside from his coach), with the agility of opening his legs to prevent a bounce out call. That is the first time I've even seen a successful 'evasion'. :D Rockets do not have the ceiling to battle AD, Howard and McGee, but they have tough as nails guys like PJ Tucker, Covington and Eric Gordon. Austin Rivers need to practice and make some shots. He suddenly lost it.

I just can't wrap my head around how those guys can rain threes from almost midcourt with hands in their faces but can't throw the frigging ball into the basket undisturbed from as close as some guys take off for a slam dunk :rolleyes:

If I was coach, each player would have to exercise FTs untill they reach a 90% rate blindfolded and backwards :p

Pity :(
I would have preferred OKC...

But then again, I hope that the Rockets have a better chance to end LeBum's season than OKC

Sorry, Steve nothing against you, your the Lakers in general nor anything else than just LeBum

I just heard Brian Windhorst point out that Marcus Morris Sr. has 2 flagrant 2s already and 1 more flagrant 2 and 2 more flagrant 1s will warrant a suspension. And the Clippers have a lot of games to go and he should watch his temper, or 'acts' if he wants to help the Clippers.

I'm impressed with this rookie Tyler Herro of Miami, plays and shoots like a veteran and drains clutch shots, not afraid to shoot.
