Clippers just beat the Wizards 136 - 104 taking their record to 4 - 2.

I am very surprised by these Clippers. They are playing great team basketball, no super stars but a deep roster of solid players. Guess that's the opposite of the Lob City teams. There were 9 players in double figures for the Clippers tonight.

Starting to come around on this team - they have been fun to watch so far.

Didn't get that one - its not like Lue had a lot to work with and his best player, Kevin Love, was injured.

In the long run Lue he may be better off since Dan Gilbert is among the worst team owners.

Klay Thompson sets new NBA record with 14 tres and a total of 52 points in 27 minutes. This is not a microwave anymore but a nuclear weapon, of mass destruction, even. He was said to be on a shooting slump this young season. I didn't know that.

I watched LeBron working again for the last shot, dribbled until there was almost no time left on the clock and then passes to Rondo who did nothing

Lakers are a run and gun team who unfortunately don't know how to play defense

Kyrie shaves his hair and scores 31 points. His first real Kryrie self. A case of a reverse Biblical Samson. Less hair more strength.

Hayward is still being 'minutes managed'. Like no injury is good news. He's been slowly getting into the groove with his jumpshots and assists. Hopefully at mid season we can see the explosive Hayward when he was in a Jazz uniform.

The Lakers continue to be an effective run and gun team until they have to play defense and then all bets are off. Yesterday they quickly opened an 18 point lead vs the Mavs only to watch it evaporate. The game once again comes down to the final 2 FT's as Le Bron is fouled.with the game tied. Of course he misses the first one but makes the second as the Lakers prevail

I love watching Lance Stephenson play as he energizes the fans. From the side he reminds me of LBJ

Kyrie's new short hairdo is doing wonders, 28 points to help top the erstwhile unbeaten Bucks. And very good showing by Hayward as he shot for 18 points with a lot of comfortable outside shots. When he takes the fall, the whole Garden gives a gasp. That is called 'Hay-Watch', coined last year by ESPN's Rachel Nichols. C's are the NBA's top Defensive team as of now, and that is helping their cause a lot.

The other night, the big news was Derrick Rose hit 50 points for the Wolves in leading them to win. Good to see him coming back great like this.
