Multiple sources optimized?

I know of 3 members here who have made serious attempts at having multiple sources all at a high level (or at least a close to comparable level for the different sources) of performance; Mike Lavigne, Dave Minches and Steve Williams, for digital, R2R tape and LP's. Are there others here?

I'm clearly not in the same "snack bracket" as the three guys you just provided as examples @rbbert. However vinyl and Redbook CD, along with stereo DVD-A and SACD are all roughly on par, both realized and optimized to a "high level" in my system.

On the analog side I own an up to date Oracle Delphi V/VI Reference with Turbo PS, SME V arm, and a Benz LP-S feeding a rare Foundation Research phono-stage. It is sited on a rare Grand Prix Audio Brooklands wall mount with the optional Formula composite shelf upgrade.

For Redbook CD I have a Jay's Audio CDT2 MkII transport. For stereo DVD-A and SACD, I use a fully Oppomod upgraded Oppo 203 with an I2S output card as a transport. In all cases the DAC is a PS Audio DirectStream and in all cases the digital interconnects are the RAL I2S(HDMI).

All electronics in my system are sited on massive high quality racking with incorporated sandbox isolation. All electronics rest on BDR puck and cone footers. All are fed from B-P-T balanced power on a 20a line dedicated to just the front-end gear via high quality power power cabling. All use Furutech Reference III analog interconnects. With an identical recording in each of the four formats, I find the strengths of each source to be a little different but each offer engaging, sometimes outright mesmerising sound. IMG_0323.JPG
