Warren Huart (multi platinum recording engineer) offered up a multi track cover recording to the public of the song Shout by Tears for Fears for mixing/mastering. Since I have been knee deep in recordings for the past year I decided to give this one a go.
Was not a fan of his using a limiter on the main track of the recording, but managed to pull a lot of the dynamic range back into the mix. For anyone interested in doing their version the video is below and the link to download the tracks is in the description of the video.
Will post my version played back through my system tomorrow. Need to make a few finishing touches
