MSB's new Sentinel DAC

I believe that this was a static display, to debut to the public the hardware components' exceptional level of precision design and manufacturing.

MSB Technologies themselves can comment on the timing of playback demos (Q1_2026?) but my guess is that given the exclusivity and scarcity factors, initially, proud early owners of newly delivered Sentinel DACs will need to either consent to loaning their units to dealers for auditioning sessions, or host private listening sessions.

Shipment of the mahogany QRDs have been delayed until Nov, arriving in mid-late Nov.
Only after they're installed, will the audio racks and components/speakers be placed and connected.
"Completion" is looking like a December event.

Congratulations. May I ask did you have an opportunity to hear it before your purchase?

I didn't get the chance to audition the Sentinel DAC before placing the order - few have, unless they’ve visited MSB in recent months to listen to their working prototype (see photo below of unit "1 of 50").

But that didn't hold me back. After years of owning and listening to the Diamond DAC V, Select II DAC, and the Cascade DAC, and through my personal interactions with Daniel, Jonathan, and Dustin, I've developed a deep appreciation, respect and trust for MSB. Their products have consistently spoken to me, emotionally, musically, and technically. I felt confident and didn't hesitate to buy MSB's flagship DAC without hearing it first.

I just found this YouTube video posted nearly 3 months ago - I don't understand Korean, but FWIW the sound is glorious!

Hang on a sec... what a tease. Even though the background wallpaper is the preproduction Sentinel DAC, the recorded sound is from the Cascade DAC, not from the Sentinel DAC. Bummer!
