From the Firefox browser on my Windows laptop, the Met's Carmen played well, but without subtitles. Not a big problem for such a familiar opera, but this would be a problem with many other operas. HDMI to my AV system worked nicely -- the first time I had a desire to try this.
On an Android tablet, Carmen would not run in the Chrome browser. The Met's On Demand app worked well and allowed subtitle choices. But without a subscription, Chromecast was not enabled.
The Met's Turandot from October 2019 was on my PBS station last night. Old technology just worked. It was nice to see the over-the-top Zeffirelli production again.
