Took delivery of the Marten Coltrane Quintet Statement Edition speakers after waiting 8 months for my order.
These beauties have a frequency response of 18 - 60,000 Hz ± 2 dB and the deep low base is incredible. I would say that they are quite a bit better than my previous Mingus Septet.

Congratulations on your new speakers, they are sight to be hold, sound beautiful, details and yet so much body.
please share more on the improvement you feel from your previous Mingus.

Thank you. Let me burn-in the speakers some more and optimise the speakers position before I share the sound improvement.

WOW...as in W-O-W! Congrats! I have heard multiple videos of these new generation reference speakers...the Quintet and the Supreme Extreme...both have sounded superbly promising...

...very very much look forward to your listening notes!

Yesterday I had a great audition at the Italian importer Audioplus Hi-End of the Quintets (they are the same pair exhibited in Munich with a wonderful green color) with 727 preamp and 717 Solution power amp and Wadax source. We used the same Qobuz playlist published on this forum for the audition of the new Lampizator monster... great show!

The green colour front baffle is only for the limited edition Coltrane Quintet Extreme, with better mid-high and mid-range drivers!
