You'll have to wait for my Yamaha review as well as my Krell review. The former is in press and the latter in manuscript at the moment.

I have not heard the Anthem in too long a time to comment.
I think the MX151 is a better unit but at a considerable margin in cost.

I owned one from AV8801 upgraded to AV8801a. They changed one board inside. I sold it to a friend not because it was bad but because I upgraded to Trinnov. That Marantz av8801a is very good indeed. My friend is so happy with it until now.
