Will be premiered at the Warsaw show on static display in the Golden Tulip hotel Oct 25th,26th,27th

From what I understand Lukasz is very good friends and a countryman with Sam (Destination Audio). I doubt very much he would be designing something which puts himself in competition with him self

I am sure you are right, but I just don’t get it since it’s a tube DAC after all. Anyway, if it’s for helping out a buddy, more power to him.

Whenever I see something made by Destination Audio, I can't help but think of Arthur C Clarke's description of the structures in the alien cylinder in Rendevous With Rama.

It is not at all uncommon for designers (especially within the same country) to collaborate in order to get products that either operate at a different price point or fill needs of a particular niche.
The digital engine in Allnic DACs for example, is designed by Waversa (both are South Korean companies).

Any actual design specifics other than an increased number of transformers (the Arthur C Clarke reference was funny....bueno)? I have an early Destination dac (thanks Art) and it's good. I know the boards are different....dual mono, etc.

Unlikely to get an answer. Schematics for the one you have are likely non-existent for comparison, I asked for them multiple times. It took 4 years of that unit going back and forth across the ocean, with delay upon delay, to get it to finally work properly. Definitely not quality engineered in.
