Saw this tonight. Alana Haim is terrific, but I have no idea how this is an Academy Award nominee.

The academy and their reasons can kick rocks.
Really loved seeing the KMET billboard that once was so prominent in my young adult life in Southern California in the preview.

I really liked it as well. Amazing job by Haim who had not acted before.

Frankly, most of the 2021 nominate movies are good, but not great. I think COVID had a lot to do with what did and what didn’t get made.

“The Power of the Dog” is the best movie from 2021 that I have seen. I have not seen Belfast yet.

Glad the movie got its name from where I had hoped...spent a lot of time there in my youth, still have the pizza today!
