My neighbor just left. The KSA-250 is packed in the original box with the original clamshells and placed inside the custom made wooden shipping crate I had made that the original KSA-250 box slides into like a glove. We moved up out of my room and into my garage waiting for its Friday pickup. If anyone is interested in buying it, now is the time to let me know. I can have it shipped straight from Krell to your house. It can be yours for $2400 plus shipping from Krell to your house. After my original purchase cost, the $1299.00 I paid for the repair and recap job, and the $700 or so I paid for roundtrip shipping, I'm into this for around $4K. $2400 is a steal for someone who is in the market for this amp.

You should also list it on the Asylum Trader and Audiocircle.

Good luck.

The KSA-250 has been sold.

No, not at all. I bought an ARC VS115 amp with KT-120 output tubes.

I have and I have nothing negative to report about them with a small amount of exposure to them yet. Mark, let your audio woes be laid to rest with the sale of this amplifier. I can only hope that good times lay ahead.

Congrats.

It must be a big relief to rid yourself of this Albatross and move into the light.

You are so right. Yesterday after I sold the amp, my wife said, “you look happy.” I said, “No, I feel relieved.” Once UPS freight picks this amp up and delivers it to Krell, I didn’t want to see it come back here and have to deal with the logistics of moving it again. I’m sure my neighbor will be happy too as he has now helped me move this amp into my room twice and out twice.

Now it will go straight from Krell to the new owner with all that implies. Krell will have just checked it out and either done another repair or they will say nothing is wrong with it. Either way, it goes to its new owner with a clean bill of health from Krell. And if something is wrong, it should be between the new owner and Krell.
