did you hear anything about the powered speakers that were shown at CES a year or two years ago? i wonder if they scrapped the idea.

This JL Audio tour was done by Doug Schneider and Jeff Fritz on February 23, 2011. JL Audio’s main factory is also their corporate headquarters. The 140-square-foot facility is located in Miramar, Florida.

The pictures of the facility make it look a lot larger than 140 square ft.

Thanks for the catch on the typo. The facility is quite immense.

They will be launching speakers in the future, though the details were not disclosed to us. I don't think they will be based on the prototypes they showed a while back.
