There is a lot of talk about improving the sound quality of a PC by minimizing the number of processes running.
This requires you to alter the configuration of the system.
If you see a process running like “btwdins.exe” the first step is to find out what it does.
Maybe it is crucial for the functioning of the system so disabling it is a disaster.
Suppose you can do without, you have to find out how to disable it.
A lot of work and a risk you really cripple your system.

There is a simple way to experiment a little without changing the configuration of your system at all.
Simply open the Taskmanager and start killing processes.
If you crash the system a reboot will do.

But start your media player first.
If killing processes help, each time you kill one you should hear an improvement in sound quality.
Or don’t you?

If you see a message like this you can in general safely kill the process.

If you see a message like this you will crash the system

Enjoy
