Before I watched last night's episode 3 I watched the last 10 minutes of episode 2 and not sure how I missed that except I did.

That's true, Steve. The show itself is meant to keep me awake.

I liked the last 10 action filled minutes. The way she outsmarted Quinn was great but he's no fool himself as we saw.

Preview of next week's episode looked good, I just hope the action is not all at the end like it was this week.

Seriously though does anyone believe Quinn would do a hit on Carrie or that Saul ordered the hit. Something else must be motivating this.

Quinn no, but Saul, maybe. Quinn pulled out on a clear hit on Brody once. Saul, well he ordered or allowed Carrie to practically go insane in a mental ward and then said welcome home when the job was done, so I think Saul is all about the end justifying the means. Though given the past they had, it would be unthinkable for me to imagine Saul wants Carrie dead.

Saul is a different guy indeed these two years later but I still don't think he would order the hit. BTW remember that Quinn has followed orders once and took the shot and wounded Carrie

I wonder about the relevance between Saul and Allison. Allison did ask Saul what he would have done if she were Carrie would he have re assigned her? Well he did keep her there and got the Ambassador there recalled only to see him in bed with her.

Saul must have bad breath because she and his wife were always turning down sex with him.

BTW Phil, I wonder if the reduction from 10 to 9 episodes this year was due to production costs and Cinemax/HBO might not have picked it up

IMO too many great shows on TV were sadly curtailed prematurely due to overwhelming production costs

That should be the reason, Steve. And the past 4 seasons were 12 episodes each, so they're taking out 3 episodes this season plus were have already seen the first 3 slow episodes.

My wife and i use the Rolling Stone magazine rating scale to evaluate each episode.

We measure by how many chin quivers e get from Carrie.

Last sunday was rated 3 Chin Quivers.

Saw the first season of The Borgias last week. Enjoyed it, never thought that this was so good. Can't wait to watch season two.

I thought that this episode was beyond terrific. It sure tied everything up very neatly except the two unanswered issues now are the file in the Russian hands as well as the one who gave the order to eliminate Carrie.

My bet is that Saul will be the one to pull the trigger on that person.

The one who ordered the hit on Carrie wanted Quinn dead too. Carrie called the number on the hitman's phone and Allison answered. Allison is the link to the hitman so it must be her who ordered the hit on both Carrie and Quinn. And who bombed the plane? On to the fifth, which is titled Better Call Saul.
