Thomas, just beautiful... these will be paired with pure audio project speakers I believe... I just wish they were paired with MY pure audio project speakers, absolutely lovely. Very much looking forward to hearing about your room next week. A friend is going over and will definitely ask him to check these out. Am sure they will be a Munich highlight. Best of luck.
Tao.

No disrespect and I don't know what Thomas has done in the particular case, but I see may designers finishing off an electronic component or a speaker just before Munich. Cessaro, for example, once had speakers finished 3 days or so before. Then, at Munich, they actually run them in...i think this is part of the problem for the awful sound in most rooms, and some rooms actually sound much improved on the last day or so. While there are many challenges to setting up a show room, surely one way to mitigate this will be by having a component that is ready and played for 200 hours or more, also tested with the paired speaker?

Hi Bonzo,

The speakers we willi use have been playing at my place for he last 2 months as the drivers need to smooth out. When it comes to electronics, my amps typically need very little burn in. I avoid electronic parts which change with use as I want my amps to sound stable and right straight out of the box when new. The tubes all are burned in and listened to prior to the show.

Best regards

Thomas

I will bring 4 sets of mono amps. SE 845, SE 300B, SE46 and Push Pull all silver 46. Depending on the space and set up all or at least 3 sets will be set up such that they can be plugged in within a few minutes. Thats also what we did in previous years, switching between amps.

I will also have a regular 10Y preamp and an all silver differential one on demo. For extensive comparisons it would be good to make an appointment. If anybody is interested we cn also do a private after show demo when crowds have left. Please email e if interested in such a private demo

Wow. This is very cool and a wonderful offer
At least 2 friends of mine and I would love to enjoy this opportunity
We all three live rather close to you and if this opportunity also exist later after the High End Show at your place, I think we would step back to enable people from much further away to have this opportunity.
That would give other people from further away a probably unique chance to hear a wide variety of your portfolio at once.

And my friends and I could visit you maybe sometime later when it is less stressful than during the High End Show.
Would that be feasible from your side?

Hi Christoph,

Two pairs of those power amps are already spoken for and will ship to their new owner sometime after the show. So for a few weeks after the show it will be possible to compare these at my place

Hi Thomas
Thanks for this Info and for this unique opportunity.
Which variant would suit you better?
At the Show on Thursday after hours maybe or rather in more peace in Lindau within a few weeks after the show?

Will there actually even be the possibility to compare the different models?
That would be very cool

Looking forward to everyone’s thoughts on the different models... might be hard to get the four box monos into your home without your wife noticing Christoph. Though at least she’ll not be able to tell that you went with pure silver transformers instead of the copper ;):)
