My journey into high-fidelity sound began with bass-forward car audio systems in the early '90s—an era of visceral sound and youthful exuberance. Since then, it’s been an evolving pursuit, shaped by countless configurations of gear at home, each one nudging me a bit closer to that ever-elusive ideal of sonic perfection. Like many here, I’ve come to appreciate that the quest itself is part of the reward.
What keeps me captivated is not only the gear but the people and the music—those unforgettable moments when the right system, in the right space, breathes new life into a familiar recording. I’ve cherished every conversation, every tweak, every late-night listening session that’s expanded my understanding of this craft.
Beyond audio, I’m an avid wine collector and an aspiring furniture maker. Both hobbies resonate with the same appreciation for nuance, craftsmanship, and timeless design that I find in this hobby.
Though I’ve only recently begun exploring WBF, I’m already impressed by the quality of insight and generosity of knowledge shared here. I’m looking forward to learning more and contributing where I can.
