FS Ktema's and best amp to pair with?

I heard Ktema matching well with Mastersound 845s.

I'm sure the Mastersound 845s would sound wonderful. We heard the Ktema's with the Air Tight ATM-2211 which has about the same power as the Mastersound 845s and while it worked the ATM-2211 just didn't have the power to bring the Ktema's to life, at about 32W, as it's bigger brother the ATM-3211 which outputs 120W. Depending on how loud you listen and how big a room there are a lot of choices.

It was Mastersound monos as far as I remember with dual 845 tubes in push pull configuration probably outing 50watts per channel not the 25watts SET.

Late to the party. Been a Ktemas owner since 2013. The biggest mistake I see people make with these speakers is thinking they are easy to drive. As mentioned above, they like to sound electric so they sound good. You might say, duh!!

I mean, below 70hz they use up power to produce bass. From years of experience, class A amplifiers seem to work best for low volume listening. I use Accuphase A-70s, and for tubes I use Synthesis amplifiers. I will be upgrading the Synthesis to the A100 Titan, as I think my current A40s are underpowered.

Congratulations on owning such nice speakers. Ten years on, I have never thought of replacing them.

Agree the Ktema's require power or current to really sing. Yesterday had a friend over and we played Yello "OH yeah" on vinyl and boy can these speakers rock. Looked at our dB meter and we were at 101 dB and no sign of strain. (Usually for most music we are in the mid 80 range)
