You mentioned timing as one of the strengths of the amps. Without comparing them to others, can EMMLab amps also reproduce physical presence?

Again we find ourselves at the mercy of language. If you are asking me do they have a sense of "you are there" my answer is yes. This however always has to do with the recording more than the gear IMO. I listen to a lot of live recordings because I want to hear what the artists wanted and delivered more than the art of the engineers and producers.
I have worked with the system since installing the amps to try to get as much as I can from what is playing. I just listed some of the music I have been playing and I think the amps and the system give you "physical presence" BTW that is a song from a band called Level 42 that I used to play and it is terrific!
