The beginning of Season 2 has a brilliant fight scene just as the first season had its own defining moment.
Other than that, initially, for a few episodes the legal company aspects and the relationship aspects aren't very interesting and threatened to drag down the season.
Fortunately, the pace revs up with the introduction of a few new characters.
Come the last half or last third of the season, the action and development are very gripping.
The story takes on a new dimension, completely unexpectedly for those who haven't read the comics.
This season sets up the next one quite well.
It's a good thing we'll have Narcos Season 2 to watch in the meantime.
