Connecting TV to a Reciever

Hi All, I have a Sony TA-VE215 Receiver and a Lexor LUX0155003/01 55" TV and I want to connect it together, but what is the best wat to get surround sound. Is it Optical Audio cable or RCA cable or is there a better way. Please advise me in the best way.

If your Sony has a Optical input than it's a better connection. If it does not, use the RCA's.
