Chord qutest or Auralic altair g1

I am currently looking to upgrade my system. I'm leaning toward an Innuos zen mk3, I have a lot of cd's but could do with the space being freed up, and am waiting to listen to rhe Rega Aethos. I have had the Chord Qutest recommended as a dac but was wondering if the Auralic Altair g1 would be a better bet? Forgive my ignorance but I'm not even sure that you can connect the Innuos to the Auralic. I listen to a very broad range of music in a smallish room (10'×10'). Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
