Like going to visit your old home town and finding the house you lived in, such is the case when I visit my ex-employer, Sony.
Just like that old home you want to relive the fun and greatness:
So you sit down to listen, only to have a crowd of Sony employees talking loudly behind you. And the guy playing the system stands there like a dictator, not taking any input from listeners, and playing it at very low volumes. Your dreams are dashed when you realize these guys are from a large company there to do a job. Or not if they can get away with it. They are going through their script prepared for them.
They show up with a turntable only to have it sit on a shelf as if this is a big box store.
More of stereo store mentality:
Wasted 15 minutes there hoping to get a taste of what this system is capable of doing. Walked out without being impressed with a thing. But before I leave, I am greeted with this sign:
Yes, I care about music. If I could only get you to care too, we would be friends. Until then, that old house is sure run down and ugly.....
