Just speculating but I assume Bob Carver, did some serious tweaking since they were introduced at RMAF a couple of years ago. They were not well received at that show, or maybe it was just show conditions.
Anyway we now have a rave review in The Absolute Sound by Robert E. Greene. A lot is made of how their dispersion is very different than other speakers, even other line sources.
Dealers to hear these speakers is currently in the offing, as Bob Carver was purchased by Jade Design who owns Emotiva. Who has plans to open brick mortar stores in major cities.
I find it curious as their is no mention of Bob Carvers Sub Rosa, subwoofer. Unless you count specifications at the end of the article. It would be nice if you could use your own subwoofer, as I really like my SVS Ultra Plus 2. Is this the sin of "omission" as the reviewer did not like the sub so let's not mention it. And since that magazine does not use specs, thats the end of it.
