Growing up in Canada brought with it the CFL with longer and wider fields and 3 downs ratger than four and IIRC goal posts set at the end of the end zone rather than where they are in the NFL

Then comes the proverbial Gray Cup ( Canada's Super Bowl) for a champion.

I remember many great NFL quarterbacks who got their start in the CFL

Anyone follow this sport?

I love the CFL....great football and the Grey Cup trumps the Super Bowl every time! I was at the 1981 Grey Cup in Montreal between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Ottawa Roughriders! The Riders were walking away with the game at half-time, but got trounced by the Eskies in the second half and won the Cup. What a game. We had nose-bleed seats, but a couple of mickies of Brandy to keep us warm.

Now I know why I only vaguely remember (must have read it somewhere). I was 9 at the time and still living in Holland. I dont think I even knew then where Canada was. LOL!
