still waiting anxiously for all the much awaited season openers of last year's great series but in the interim we found Black rabbit starring Jason Bateman and Jude Law and interestingly enough directed by Laura Linney , Jason's costar in Ozark. We are half way through the 8 episode series and I have to admit its damn good. Definitely worth a watch . Each episode between 45 67 minutes. It will definitely keep your interest

The Netflix Series
  • Stars:
    Jude Law and Jason Bateman.

  • Plot:
The series follows two brothers who run a high-end New York restaurant. When one brother returns to town after gambling and taking out loans, it drags both into the criminal underworld, threatening their business and their lives.

  • Themes:
The show explores themes of crime, family, addiction, and codependency, as the brothers are forced to confront their complicated past.

  • Setting:
The series' fictional restaurant, also named Black Rabbit, is modeled after the real-life Spotted Pig, a once-popular restaurant that was involved in scandal.

We, also, are about halfway thru the eight episodes. The performances by Law and Bateman are both excellent, with Bateman stealing the show. He will likely get some award nominations for this one.

We finished it last night, and I have to admit that the last three episodes were absolutely fantastic and brings everything together as far as the timelines and a lot of the confusion that I found in the first few episodes

Liked the show thought it was really good however it had one episode to much. I don’t know why they had to pull out the soft nice ending which IMO truly didn’t fit . Bateman and Laws characters are not good guys and the sprinkles on the end truly didn’t fit
Too much like a Disney ending to me and yes I know it’s not the Disney channel
