Are those the Luxman amps? Reason that I'm asking is that I was very impressed by the little 60 watt Class A amps sound at CES driving the Vivids. The Luxman never seemed to run out steam and was really rock solid sounding. Very un-solid state-ish like the new Rowland amps.

Myles which Vivid's were the amps driving?

I think they were the G3Giya. I heard the same amps at RMAF driving the smaller Vivids whose model number escapes me now. On R2R, the sound was spectacular and the audience asked Philip to leave the tape on for the who first side :)
