Berkeley Alpha Reference USB Converter

Has anyone had an opportunity to compare the Berkeley Alpha Reference USB converter to the Alpha Series 2 unit? What improvement, if any, did you hear?

I have the Alpha Reference USB. The overall digital chain is amazing but I can't comment on the Alpha Series 2.
I am in upstate New York. On the off chance you are anywhere close enough to bother, you are welcome to come by and compare.
