Banshee Season 4-The Final Season

Awesome. Cant wait

SPOILER ALERT

Either you guys are tight lipped about episode one or it is still on your DVR not yet viewed. I thought it was very well done, now 2 years since the end of the last episode. Kai Proctor (if you can believe it) is now the mayor of Banshee and the indians have taken their illegal business off the reservation and are now encroaching upon Kai's shady doings. Sadly Rebecca (Kai's niece) was found murdered and partly eviscerated by the river edge and no one is a suspect although Kai does have some ideas.

Lukas has been AWOL for the past 18 months as he sobers up in a mountain retreat Rebecca took him to as she disclosed it was owned by Kai. Hood is discovered in the retreat by Sheriff Brock who brings Hood to town where he begins to search for Rebecca's killer as well as continuing to search for Job who they fear to be dead

Deputy Kurt Buckner the ex nazi now a cop is seen to be sleeping with his brother's wife and the two brothers confront one another in an unrelated episode such that we suspect there is something going to happen there

Carrie is languishing in her life with her kids being put in the custody of her inlaws and she has court mandated psychotherapy.

Lots of story lines were being developed including another very gorgeous deputy sheriff who seems to be a mole for either Kai or the indians....

Stay tuned

Here was a good review I read

I enjoyed the season premier. Just watched it tonight after replaying the season finale from last year to refresh myself. It's going to be an interesting season. Too bad it's the last.

I think they'll be even more shockers than usual because it is the final season. No holds barred!

Just saw Ep 1 last night and it was a good one. I forgot some of the events from last season which ended a little more than a year ago. With Chayton dead, I miss a big badass villian. Job is still missing and missed.

Well Phil you ain't seen nothin' until you've seen episode 2
This is the final season and this episode quickly brings us back to the Banshee we knew. Suffice it to say there are several scenes here that will drop your jaw. There is one in which the bear scene in The Revenant appears tame in comparison. Blood guts and mayhem is back with a huge bang

Proctor remains evil and takes on the Nazi brother of the Banshee deputy sheriff. As to who killed Rebecca, all we know is who didn't.

Many story lines are being developed all of which seem to be leading to one huge inevitable implosion of all or most of the characters

SPOILER ALERT:

The end of this episode shows Job alive and chained at the bottom of a pit used as a prison as he is tortured by his captor. A short synopsis by Mark Tropper at the end suggests that Job will be returning but not how we knew him

I have to say that this episode is so violent that it is quickly obvious that this final season will be a no holds barred and every form of killing and mayhem will be seen. Some startled me in this episode.

I should be watching it tonight, Steve. :)

But, where is Eliza Dushku, I ran an IMDB episodes cast check and I couldn't find her name in the upcoming episodes. :(

Saw Ep. 2 last night and every bit of action and super violence was as you said, Steve. The wild dog bite scene, I have to stray my eyes off the TV for a few seconds.
