I have B&W 800D for a year now and the finishing around the tweeter already crack and peeling off (see picture in attache). I hope they will fix it well.
I have to say that so far I have found B&W customer service to be second to none. Hope you get it fixed soon but it looks like you will need a whole tweeter assembly, last time I checked it was about £450 for the diamond variety (not sure which yours is).
That should be covered under warranty, unless you struck the tweeter assembly with some object or dropped the speaker, etc. (something that wouldn't be covered).
Dealer said it was under warranty and it was consider manufacturing defect but I have to wait for two months to get it fixed . Sad to have a speakers like 800D2 where B&W always said quality to be second to none.

Sometimes you can just be unlucky.I had a pair of Proac speakers in walnut finish, but after 6 months the veneer started to show big red marks all over it.it turned out they used the wrong glue.
